Mellish Family Vineyards Bakenkop Syrah 2018

Mellish Family Vineyards Bakenkop Syrah 2018
Mellish Family Vineyards Bakenkop Syrah 2018
Blind Tasting Note by James Pietersen:

A deep, rich nose of dark fruit, spice, cocoa powder and oak. On the palate there is a good density of dark fruit with distinct dark cherry. There is a saltiness accompanied by meat spice with notes of sweet baking spice and vanilla that linger on the finish. As the wine evolves there are some floral notes and a red fruited elegance that appears as the oak and dark fruit quieten.
